This is excellent, and i think that all the time spent in your head has done some good, as well as making you a little nutty. I’ve definitely seen you become more analytical and honed in your thoughts and discussions.

We didn’t spend much time together over the past year but boy did we before that.

A few things i’ve noticed:
1. you have more of a careful way of approaching things – work especially.
2. you think about things much more before you do them/say them
3. you care about things that you maybe didn’t really before and are more cautious around others – this could be attributing to growing up though… about time!
4. your illustrations have come leaps and bounds – i’m slightly in awe and very jealous.
5. you’ve mostly accepted the commercial reality of our industry and what needs to be done to make a living, which is great cause you purely resisted for ages. Glad you’ve come around!

I’m really proud to know you and to see you grow up over the past years.

as for what do you do with the scans, leave them out..look at them once in a while, with your experience I am sure it will filter into your art.

Firstly, I am happy to have been alterted to the existence of this blog. I find your words and journey very frank and moving. You seem to take negatives and what is a natural part of life (sickness) in stride with hope and sarcasm which is refreshing to read. Sucks about the dragon.

The kid inside me thinks of a very different scenario when you mention tattos, lasers and radiation (perhaps I just played too much Duke Nukem as a child?) but those photos tell a very different story.

I understand that radiotherapy is the last intensive procedure in most cancer treatments – It’s good that you secured an earlier schedule, I can’t imagine that time is exactly flying by.

Not long to go now, but welcome back to beer an hariness! My thoughts are with you K.
